Put the source to work.
Explore economic conditions that may affect your business plan, from prices and exchange rates to trade and production. Each table needs its own unit, period, and comparison group.
Why it matters
Business decisions need context. An economic dashboard can help explain the environment around a market when each value has a clear meaning and date.
Could changing prices or exchange rates affect your plan?
Imagine a business agrees on an overseas price, but costs and exchange rates move before delivery. A broad economic dashboard can help you notice the changing setting. Match the economic signal to the decision you face. Inflation, production, and exchange rates answer different questions.
The reviewed GEM package spans 35 indicator tables. Before comparing values, check the units, frequency, and whether the row describes a country or a regional group. The Country Data Lab offers a smaller connected set of national measures, while the supplier guide helps turn context into questions about actual delivery costs.
Three steps you can take
- Choose the cost, demand, or timing question you want to investigate.
- Use comparable monthly, quarterly, or annual periods and check incomplete observations.
- Ask your buyer, supplier, or adviser how changing conditions affect the proposed terms.

Use these figures to understand the package reviewed on October 20, 2026. The results section below tells you which comparisons you can explore here and which still need source work. A source guide is different from a complete table of published observations.
How to use the evidence
Separate countries from regional aggregates.
Verify units, missing-value codes, reporting dates, and incomplete periods before displaying or comparing measures.
Available results and rankings
- The reviewed tables are a strong foundation for country dashboards after normalization and checks.
Coverage and limits
- A period label extending into 2026 does not establish complete 2026 coverage for every measure.
- No existing certified composite ranking was found in the reviewed copy.
