START WITH THE DECISION

Who gets to participate
in the AI economy?

A chamber may want to plan a skills programme. A company may want to understand a market. A researcher may want to trace a finding to its source. Each needs evidence with a clear question, place, date, and meaning.

This NDS collection preserves business statistics, connectivity context, country preparedness, and source records. The work helps you begin with documented queries and definitions instead of rebuilding the source collection.

The value is in usable, explainable research. It can support interviews, briefings, training discussions, and partnership planning. Local demand, costs, and commercial results still need their own evidence.

DISTINCT SOURCES. CLEAR MEANINGS.

Country preparedness, business use, and broadband availability measure different things. Their original dates and coverage travel with them.

UNITED STATES · CENSUS AI SUPPLEMENT

What do businesses report using?

The preserved product record includes this national sample for AI use in any business function in the past two weeks. It is one survey-window estimate, rather than a current live reading or a count of individual firms.

Question: In the last two weeks, did this business use Artificial Intelligence (AI) in any of its business functions? (Examples of AI: machine learning, natural language processing, virtual agents, voice recognition, etc.)

Collection: November 17, 2025–February 8, 2026. Published: April 23, 2026. The source says the statistics represent all companies in its target population.

Estimate: AI_Supplement_Table_2026.xlsx, National Response Estimates, row 2, column 6. Uncertainty: National Standard Errors, row 2, column 6.

This sample is adapted from the preserved NDS product record dated 2026-10-10. Read the official Census BTOS source for the published survey context. It does not describe households, individual companies, or every ZIP code.

UNITED STATES · FCC AVAILABILITY CONTEXT

Could partners connect to the tools?

The archive preserves 1,316,926 records in 8 separate tables about providers, fixed service, mobile service, technologies, and geography. These are record counts across different table types, rather than unique customers or places.

Reported availability does not establish subscriptions, affordability, actual speeds, or AI adoption. FCC dates, denominators, mobile units, and boundary links remain under review. This page does not turn those rows into a business or household availability percentage.

All contribution bars use the same 0–1 scale. Display values are rounded to four decimals; the original full-precision values and source text are retained.

What could you do with this context?

Start with a business need. You might need a training partner, a digital supplier, a research team, or someone who can explain the market’s rules. These are NDS planning questions, not opportunities proven by an index value.

A preparedness value describes conditions in a country. To decide whether to do business, also check customers, costs, industry evidence, and people who can help you follow through.

The U.S. companion covers business survey evidence. It does not describe AI use in this country.

Source tracing

Original file hashes, worksheet and row references, source text, missing statuses, and interpretation notes help you follow a result back to its origin. The current country import verifies 870 metric cells against the original workbook.

Geography that keeps its meaning

Country ISO3 keys, published survey areas, and reviewed U.S. geographic assets serve different purposes. The old regional candidate’s ZIP count is not promoted here. The governed operational ZIP universe has 39,487 records; that does not create 39,487 AI adoption estimates.

History with its definitions

The historical windows cover 2016–2018 technology use, 2023–2024 AI in producing goods or services, and 2025–2026 AI in any business function. Changed questions remain separate. No new trend is manufactured across them.

Rights that travel with the source

The licensed manifest must identify approved data, views, documentation, and source conditions. Original documents and third-party images are included only when their distribution rights are confirmed. IMF data are available free from the IMF.

Proposed internal-use scope

The snapshot would cover employees and authorized contractors working within one organization, with source attribution and source-specific conditions preserved. Updates, consulting, membership, and API access are included only if the final agreement expressly names them.

Resale, raw-data redistribution, white-label access, multi-organization use, and model training need separate review and agreement. NDS does not claim exclusive ownership of Census, FCC, IMF, or World Bank facts, or restrict rights you independently hold in those sources.

Before payment: the approved edition, included files, seller identity, final license, delivery timing, support, and cancellation/refund terms must be confirmed. Checkout and paid delivery remain disabled.

QUESTIONS A BUYER SHOULD ASK

Know what
you are asking for.

Who is this research for?

Chambers, economic-development teams, researchers, workforce providers, and international business teams can use the evidence to prepare better questions. Start with the decision you need to make, then check which source and geography can support it.

What would a snapshot license include?

The proposed one-organization edition would include approved DuckDB views, a source catalog, a data dictionary, methods, and example queries. The final edition manifest must identify the included files and permissions before payment. The wider preservation archive is not automatically included.

Are source data exclusive to NDS?

No. Public authorities remain the sources of their data. NDS contributes organization, source tracing, typed views, interpretation, software, and documentation. IMF statistical data are available free from the IMF. Underlying source terms and rights you independently hold still apply.

Can I buy or download the paid edition now?

This page accepts license inquiries. Checkout and paid delivery are disabled. There is no charge, order, subscription, or download entitlement when you submit the form. The approved contents, seller, license, price, and delivery commitment must be confirmed before payment.

Does a snapshot include updates or API access?

Only services expressly named in the final agreement would be included. Managed updates and API access are future inquiry options. There is no live licensed data API or recurring payment offer on this page.

Can I publish raw data or share it with clients?

The proposed snapshot is for one organization’s internal use. Resale, customer-facing raw-data access, white-label use, and use across multiple organizations need a separate agreement and applicable source permissions. Model training is not included in the proposed license.

Does this show AI use in every ZIP code?

No. Census statistics retain their published national, state, industry, size, and selected metro coverage. FCC availability is a different measure. The governed ZIP geography can organize appropriate context, but it does not create a direct ZIP AI-use estimate.

Can I draw one adoption growth line across the historical surveys?

Not from this release. Earlier surveys asked about producing goods or services; the newer supplement asks about any business function. The source windows and questions are preserved separately. No continuous numeric historical trend is approved.

How will delivery and support work?

The source plan calls for private manual delivery after verified payment when an approved edition is offered. Delivery timing, support, cancellation and refund terms are not activated here. Use the inquiry form to discuss scope or ask about a previous request, and keep your reference.

TELL US WHAT YOU WANT TO LEARN

Put the evidence
to work.

Tell us your business question, the places or industries that matter, and how you want to use the research. The CDI team can review the fit, proposed license, and delivery requirements with you.

This form records a license inquiry. No payment is taken. Submitting it does not create a dataset entitlement, membership, subscription, or award nomination.

Use this form for questions about the proposed edition or a prior inquiry too. Keep your reference for follow-up.

Follow the sources.

The product journey adapts the existing AI Chamber offer and source/product record. Each source keeps its role and period. The IMF supplies the numerical country evidence; World Bank reports supply research context, rather than a second imported country panel.

Independent NDS research presentation. No source-agency endorsement is implied. This owner-private edition is available for review; the final public/commercial release remains separate.
