YOUR QUESTION. A USEFUL NEXT STEP.

Listen for the idea you can use.

Imagine a speaker describes a project that might help your own community. Keep the useful question, the source, and the next step together. A recording can explain how people approached a problem and introduce the organizations involved.

Use the Global Chamber™ channel below to explore published conversations. For recordings added to this room, use the available summary, transcript, and print or download tools. A clear title, date, and source link make the conversation easier to cite and share.

Connect what you hear with the four business questions. If a speaker mentions an opportunity, verify its current details with the organization. The global storytelling guide explains how publication activity and audience attention can be measured separately from later business results.

Try this: Choose one conversation. Save a note with the speaker, source, idea, and person you want to contact next.

Let's Disrupt: Sustainability Opportunities Post COVID19

Full YouTube source description
For the second globinar in the Covid-19 Series of Let’s Disrupt, we will dig into how the global coronavirus pandemic is presenting opportunities to charter a path to a greener world. The temporary fallback of anthropogenic activities as a result of lockdowns worldwide has presented a rare opportunity for individuals, companies, government and other entities to reevaluate their priorities and prepare for the looming threat of climate change through sustained efforts and disrupting business models. On the contrary, the same cannot be said about the social or economic dimensions, both of which have seen a considerable setback, and will take time to recover from the casualties, unemployment and recessions brought about by the crisis. This Global Chamber globinar will analyse these critical issues and lay out opportunities to prioritise climate change mitigation measures and strategies to expedite sustainable development. With renowned stalwarts in the field of sustainability participating in the globinar, the attendees will benefit from expert insights on how we can continue reducing our carbon footprint post Covid-19. Speakers: Yolanda Saito - Co-CEO & Director, Partnerships & Innovation of Impact, New York City Dr. Mazhar Islam - Chase Distinguished Professor of International Business and Assistant Professor at the College of Business, Loyola University, New Orleans, USA Dr. Sahadat Hossain - Director, Solid Waste Institute for Sustainability (SWIS) and Professor of Civil Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington, USA Dr. Alfred Marcus - Edson Spencer Endowed Chair in Strategy and Technological Leadership at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, USA
